LAKSHMANA RAO CRIMINAL PETITION NO: 2767 of 2026 ORDER: Criminal Petition has been filed under Section 528 Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita Act, 2023 (for brevity the ‘BNSS’) by the Petitioners/Accused Nos.1 to 4, seeking to quash the proceedings against them in Crime No.01 of 2026 on the file of the Mundlamur Police Station registered for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 85 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (for brevity, ‘the BNS’) and Section 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961 (for brevity ‘the D.P. Act’). 2. Pursuant to the directions of this Court, the learned Mediator conducted the mediation proceedings and submitted a report. The said report is hereby accepted. 3. In view of the Mediator’s report, the Criminal Petition is liable to be disposed of as compromised. 4. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is disposed of as compromised.
