Mr. Tapan Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner. 2. Mr. Ajay Veer Pundir, learned counsel for the respondents-University. 3. Petitioner is serving as Multi Tasking Staff in Gurukul Kangri (Deemed to be University). He has been transferred from Haridwar Campus to Kanya Gurukul Campus, Dehradun, vide order dated 28.02.2026. 4. Feeling aggrieved by his transfer, petitioner has filed this writ petition. 5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner was initially transferred to Kanya Gurukul Campus at Haridwar and petitioner had no grievance against such transfer, but now he has been transferred to Kanya Gurukul Campus Dehradun, which is at a distance of about 55 kms from Haridwar. 6. Learned counsel for the University submits that petitioner holds a transferable post and he has given an undertaking at the time of appointment that he shall not have any objection against his transfer to any campus of Gurukul Kangri (Deemed to be University). He further submits that there are complaints against the petitioner and with a view to maintain order in the University, petitioner’s transfer was necessary. He, however, 2026:UHC:2032 submits that if petitioner has any personal problem, then he can approach the Interim Vice-Chancellor by making a representation. 7. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of with liberty to petitioner to make representation to Interim Vice- Chancellor within one week from today. If he makes representation within stipulated time, Interim Vice-Chancellor shall take decision thereupon, as per law, within three weeks thereafter. For a period of four weeks or till decision is taken on petitioner’s representation, whichever is earlier, status quo as regards petitioner’s posting, as on today, shall be maintained. 8. This Court hopes and expects that petitioner as well as employees association will not create any rucks in the University till decision is taken by Interim Vice-Chancellor.
