JUSTICE D K SINGH) The present intra Court appeal has been filed impugning the judgment and order dated 03.06.2025 - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:19373-DB WA No. 960 of 2025 passed by the learned Single Judge in writ petition number 936/2015 (KLR-LG) filed by the appellants herein. 2. The parties are referred to as per their ranking before the writ Court, for the sake of convenience. 3. Petitioners allegedly have occupied the forest land in Survey No.144 situated at Aralikoppa Village, N.R. Pura Taluk, Chikkamagalur District. Therefore, to evict them from the forest land, a notice dated 23.12.2014 came to be issued against the petitioners by the respondents. The petitioners had challenged the said notice in the writ petition. The writ Court has dismissed the writ petition on the ground that whether the disputed land is a forest land or it is not a forest land, cannot be adjudicated in the writ petition. 4. We find no error in the impugned judgment and order dated 03.06.2025 passed by the learned Single Judge, which is why we dismiss this appeal. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:19373-DB WA No. 960 of 2025 5.
