CMP No.24753 of 2026 The application under Section 151 CPC has been filed for an early hearing of the appeal, which was admitted on 30.06.2026 primarily on the ground that the connected matter i.e. CWP No.8856 of 2024, titled as Rohit Kumar Vs. Himachal Pradesh National Law University, is still pending before the learned Single Judge. 2. Counsel for the respondent has pointed out that vide order dated 27.07.2026 (Annexure A-I), the learned Single Judge had deferred the proceedings by eight weeks, with liberty to the parties to make a mention for the listing of this case pursuant to any direction that may be passed by the Hon’ble Division Bench. 3. In such a situation, we are of the considered opinion that it would be more appropriate, if the learned Single Judge first decides Rohit Kumar’s case (supra). 4.
