This Court, vide order dated 27.01.2026 passed in MCRC No. 8054 of 2025, while rejecting the bail of the petitioner, namely, B. Pawan Kalyan, had expressed its trust that the trial Court would make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of that order, if there was no legal impediment. 3. The learned 4th Additional Sessions Judge/Special Judge (NDPS Act), Durg District- Durg (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 19.06.2026 has requested for grant of three month’s additional time for concluding the KUNAL DEWANGAN Digitally signed by KUNAL DEWANGAN 2 trial. 4. It transpires from perusal of the P.U.D. that the case is presently fixed for recording of prosecution evidence. The record further reveals that the prosecution witnesses have not remained present before the Court concerned and therefore, their evidence could not be recorded. Owing to the non-appearance of the prosecution witnesses, the trial could not progress and be concluded within the stipulated period. Accordingly, the learned trial Court has sought extension of time and has prayed for grant of a further period of three months for recording the evidence of the prosecution witnesses and concluding the trial and final disposal of the case. 5. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of three months from today. 6. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction. 7.
