THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE MAHESWARA RAO KUNCHEAM WRIT PETITION NO: 31235 of 2017 Order:-
This Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is filed for the following relief:
“to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus to declaring the action of the 3rd & 4th respondents in issuing the impugned letter dated 10.4.2017 unilaterally relieving the petitioner from service without putting him on notice or giving any opportunity as being illegal, arbitrary and is in violation of principles of natural justice and fair play apart from being in negation of terms of appointment and the AP Education Act and consequently set aside the same, with a direction to permit the petitioner to discharge his duties as Teacher in English in 4th respondent school.”
2. On 20.12.2025, it was brought to the notice of this Court that the learned counsel for the petitioner was no more, and in view of the same, this Court directed the Registry to issue notice to the petitioner. Pursuant to the said directions, the Registry issued notice to the petitioner; however, it was reported that no such person was residing at the given address. Therefore, this Court directed the Registry to print the name of the petitioner in the cause list. 3. Even today, when the matter is called, there is no representation on behalf of either the petitioner or the respondents. 3
Hence, in light of the above facts and circumstances, and considering that the lis was instituted in the year 2017, the mere pendency of the writ petition does not serve any fruitful purpose. 4. Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed, leaving it open to the petitioner to pursue his legal remedies in accordance with law. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, in this writ petition shall stand closed. _____________________________ MAHESWARA RAO KUNCHEAM,J
