Petitioners have filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs: “10.1) That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue appropriate writ/writs, order/orders, direction/ directions and direct the respondent authorities to pass appropriate order regarding the compassionate appointment to the petitioner no. 2. 10.2) That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to decide the case of petitioners for compassionate appointment to the petitioner no. 2 without compelling him to adduce consent letter of the second wife (Smt. Munni Bai) of the deceased Heera Lal Rathore. 10.3) Any other relief which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper also kindly be granted to the petitioner, in the interest of justice.” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submit that father of petitioners Late Shri Heera Lal Rathore while working on the post of Attendant Grade-2 (Line) died in harness on 07.08.2019. Petitioners thereafter submitted 3 / 4 an application for grant of compassionate appointment on 15.10.2019. However, till date claim of petitioner is not considered and decided. 3. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that upon going through the application submitted by petitioner it revealed that some more documents/information is required and therefore a letter dated 24.12.2025 was issued to Executive Director (Line) of Chhattisgarh State Power Transmission Company Limited and copy of this letter is also forwarded to petitioner No.2.However, till date documents and information as sought for are not submitted. He submits that as soon as requisite information and documents are provided by petitioner No.2, decision will be taken on the application for grant of compassionate appointment submitted by petitioners. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and also perused the documents annexed along with writ petition. 5. Grievance of the petitioner in this writ petition is that application submitted by petitioner No.2 for grant of compassionate appointment dated 15.10.2019 is not considered and decided even after lapse of more than 6 years. Perusal of letter dated 24.12.2025 placed by learned counsel for the respondents before this Court, would show that respondents have issued letter mentioning documents to be submitted by petitioner No.2 and as submitted by learned counsel for respondents, till date, documents are not submitted and therefore I find it appropriate to dispose of this writ petition at this stage directing petitioner No.2 to submit requisite documents and information as mentioned in letter dated 24.12.2025 (copy of which is already handed over to learned counsel for petitioners) and respondents authorities are 4 / 4 further directed to take decision on claim of petitioners, within a further period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of documents on application for grant of compassionate appointment submitted by petitioner No.2, in accordance with law. 6.
