The present MCC has been filed seeking extension of time to comply with the order dated 07.01.2026 passed by this Court in 2 WPS No.9567 of 2023 (Nirmal Das vs. South Eastern Coalfields Limited and Others). 2. Vide order dated 07.01.2026, this Hon’ble Court had directed that the respondents shall take appropriate steps in compliance of the aforesaid directions; however, despite lapse of considerable time, the respondents have failed to comply with the said order, and no decision has been communicated to the petitioner till date, which is arbitrary, illegal and in violation of the directions issued by this Hon’ble Court. 3. Learned counsel for the applicants submits that the present application has been filed seeking extension of time to comply with the order dated 07.01.2026 and that the applicants are taking all necessary steps to comply with the same. It is submitted that this MCC may be allowed and further 60 days’ time be granted to comply with the order dated 07.01.2026 passed by this Court. 4. Considering the submission advanced by learned counsel for the applicants and taking into account that the applicants seek further time for compliance of the order dated 07.01.2026 passed by this Court, this Court is of the view that, in the interest of justice, one opportunity deserves to be granted for compliance of the said order. However, it is expected that the authorities shall ensure strict compliance within the extended period and no further unnecessary delay shall be caused. 5. Accordingly, the present MCC is allowed. The applicants are granted further 60 days’ time from today to comply with the order 3 dated 07.01.2026 passed in WPS No.9567 of 2023 (Nirmal Das vs. South Eastern Coalfields Limited and Others). sd/- (Amitendra Kishore Prasad) Judge Vishakha
