Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. There are case and counter case between the adverse sides. The petitioner and the victim were acquainted with each other. A similarly circumstanced co-accused was granted anticipatory bail by this Court on 4.12.2025 in CRM (A) 3662 of 2025. 2. Learned counsel appearing for the State submits that there is no recovery of any new arms. The arms in question were actually seized in respect of another case and were re-seized in connection with this case. The gold chain which was allegedly snatched away, was recovered from a co-accused. 3. Considering the above, the other materials available in the case diary and the fact that substantially similarly circumstanced co-accused was granted anticipatory bail 2 by this Court earlier, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 4. In the event of arrest, the petitioner shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/- each with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer and also be subject to further conditions that the petitioner shall cooperate with the investigation and shall not threaten or intimidate the witnesses. The petitioner shall meet the Investigating Officer as and when required. 5. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is allowed. 6. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance with requisite formalities. (Jay Sengupta, J.)
