The applicant has presented this application seeking direction to the Respondent No.2- passport authorities to issue passport to the applicant for a period of one year. 2. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant is convicted for a short term sentence and an appeal is pending before this Court against the same. It is further submitted that this Court was pleased to suspend the sentence of the applicant during the pendency of the appeal. The applicant intends to visit foreign for a family vacation and is required to renew his passport for the same. As such, the applicant, prayed to allow the application. 3. Learned APP and learned counsel for Respondent No.2 have fairly submitted that appropriate orders may be passed. 4. Having heard the submissions from the respective sides and upon perusal of the record indicates that admittedly, the applicant is enlarged on bail by this Court. Apart from the pendency of this appeal, learned counsel for the applicant has submitted that there is no other criminal case pending against the applicant. 5. In view of the G.S.R. 570(E) dated 25.08.1993 and considering that the applicant has no other criminal antecedents who intends to take a family vacation, the broad principle under Article 21 of the Constitution of India i.e. Right to liberty needs to be upheld. However, by imposing certain conditions. 6. Hence, following order : (a) The application is allowed. (b) The applicant is directed to submit his intended itinerary including the details, such as, dates and destination of travel as well as the details of the members travelling with him within a period of two weeks. (d) The Registrar (Judicial) to verify the compliance of the aforesaid terms. 7.
