Case No. 125 of 2025 and hence both the cases are being heard and disposed of by a common order. 2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.12381 of 2026(6) dt.14-07-2026 2/3 State. 3. Petitioners apprehend arrest in Chiksaura P. S. Case No. 125 of 2025 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 80, 238, 61(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Sections 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. 4. It is a case of dowry death. As per F.I.R., marriage of the daughter of informant was solemnized with co-accused Titu Ram in the year 2023 and thereafter, she was subjected to torture and harassment by all the named accused persons, including these petitioners and subsequently, the accused persons killed her due to non fulfillment of demand of dowry and concealed the dead body. 5. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners are innocent and have committed no offence. Petitioners are in-laws of the deceased and they are simply victims of over-implication. Petitioners were not present at the place of occurrence at the relevant and time and have got no concern with affairs of the deceased. 6. Learned A.P.Ps. for the State vehemently opposed the bail application and submitted that there is direct and specific allegation that these petitioners committed murder of the daughter of informant due to non-fulfillment of demand of Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.12381 of 2026(6) dt.14-07-2026 3/3 dowry. 7. Considering the nature of accusation and the fact that deceased died in unnatural circumstances in her matrimonial house, within seven years of marriage, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is refused.
