01. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has submitted three formal online applications through the official Revenue Services Portal of the Government of J&K for obtaining certified copies of Revenue excerpts viz. Extract of Girdawari and Extracts of Jamabandi which according to him through have been declined but no formal order has been shown.
03. It is further submitted that the petitioner has been left without an effective remedy, as on one hand the online portal reflects the status “Approved” of Serial No. 184

the three applications, while on the other hand no formal order has been shown to him.

Learned counsel for the petitioner fairly concedes that any order of rejection passed by the competent revenue authority is appealable in accordance with law.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would feel satisfied, in case, this petition is disposed of at this stage by directing the respondents to consider and decide the three applications submitted by the petitioner and to communicate the decision taken thereon.

08. Ms. Nazia Fazal, Assisting counsel appearing vice Mrs. Monika Kohli, learned Sr. AAG waives notice on behalf of the respondents and expresses no objection to the disposal of the petition in the above terms.
01. In view of the statement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and the no objection expressed by the learned counsel appearing for the respondents, the instant petition is disposed of at this stage, with the direction to respondent No. 2-Tehsildar Revenue, Tehsil Office Hiranagar, District Kathua, to consider and take a decision on the three applications submitted by the petitioner, strictly in accordance with law. In case, he shall proceeds either to decline or approve the said three applications, he shall formally communicate the decision so taken to the petitioner, enabling him to avail of such remedy as may be available to him in accordance with law.

02. Needful shall be done within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
03. The writ petition is ‘disposed of’ in the manner indicated as above.
