In this writ petition, the petitioner is seeking direction to remove the block "Government Restriction" in the computerized revenue records, in respect of the - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:30573 WP No. 18473 of 2026 subject land, in terms of the judgment in State of Karnataka and others Vs. Pilla Chennamma and another passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Special leave Petition (Civil) Diary No.63603 of 2025, wherein the State has preferred the petition, which came to be dismissed on 21.11.2025. 3. It is also forthcoming from the writ petition that this Court on 27.04.2026 (Annexure-K) in W.P.No.13073 of 2026 (KLR-RR/SUR) at Paragraph Nos.4 and 5 has observed as follows: "4. Having regard to the admitted fact that the SLP filed by the State of Karnataka and others against the petitioners herein in SLP (Civil) No.63603/2025 was dismissed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court on 21.11.2025, it was the duty of the competent authority, whether it is the Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner or the Tahsildar to remove all such restrictions from the system. Any further delay at the hands of the concerned respondent authorities, to remove the restriction put in the system will have to be viewed very seriously. 5. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the 2nd respondent - Deputy Commissioner, BENGALURU Urban District, the Assistant Commissioner, BENGALURU North Sub-Division and the Tahsildar Yelahanka Taluk to proceed to remove such restriction put in - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:30573 WP No. 18473 of 2026 the system known as Bhoomi software to enable the registration of the document. At any rate, the restriction shall be removed on or before 30.04.2025 to enable the registration of the document at the earliest. Ordered accordingly". 4. Having taken note of the observation made by this Court in the above case and the appeal preferred by the Respondent-State came to be dismissed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court referred to supra, the writ of mandamus is issued to the Respondent No.4 to enter the name of the petitioner in the RTC records, within Fifteen days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. It is also made clear that the compliance of the same be made and compliance report be filed before this Court, within one month. With the above observation, Writ Petition stands disposed of.
