---------- 02/ 28.08.2026 In this instant Writ Application, the Petitioners pray for issuance of an appropriate Writ/s, Order/s, Direction/s or particularly a Writ in the nature of mandamaus directing and commanding upon the concerned respondents to pay forthwith the arrears of Salary as per 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th pay-revision to the Petitioners in the pay scale of Rs. 3700-5700 revised upto date, which comes to Rs. 12000-420-18300 with effect from the date of their promotion to the post of Reader with two Ph.D. increments and revision of pay scale in 5th, 6th and 7th as per the U.G.C. pay scale and pay the arrears thereof, Petitioner Nos. 1 to 3 are retired Associate Professors of Ram Lakhan Singh

Yadav College, Ranchi and Petitioner No. 4 is a retired Associate Professor from Post-Graduation Centre, Ranchi and further the respondents be
directed to pay interest on the arrears of delayed payment.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the issue involved in this writ application is squarely covered by the order passed in W.P.(S). No. 6731 of 2024 with analogous cases; accordingly, similar benefits may be extended to these petitioners.

Learned counsel for the respondents submits that since counter- affidavit has not been filed; accordingly, petitioners may approach respondent No. 4 and if the instant case is covered by the above referred case then their cases will also be considered in view of direction given by this Court in W.P.(S). No. 6731 of 2024 with analogous cases.
4. Having regard to the aforesaid facts and circumstance, the instant writ application is hereby disposed of by directing the petitioners to file fresh representation before the respondent No. 4. The moment the respondent No. 4 receives such representation, he shall verify the records of the present case. If the cases of these petitioners are covered by the order passed by this Court in W.P.(S). No. 6731 of 2024 with analogous cases, similar benefits may be extended to them. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt a copy of this order.
5. It goes without saying that if the decision is taken in favour of the petitioner, necessary consequential order be issued within a further period of four weeks.
6. As a result, the instant writ application stands disposed of.
