ORAL ORDER
1. Sri. S. Rajashekar, learned counsel who has filed vakalathama before issuance of notice, accepts notice for respondent No.1. Sri. Jayashree Narasimhan, learned counsel accepts notice for respondent No.2.
2. Petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs:

a. Issue a writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents to consider the representations dated 22.11.2024, 04.02.2025, 10.10.2025, 04.11.2025 and 11.12.2025 (Annexures H, J, L, M and N respectively) submitted by the Petitioner and consequently release the outstanding interest subvention amount of ₹13.03 crores payable to the Petitioner under the Scheme;
b. Direct the Respondents to pay interest on the said amount from the date it became due till realization;
c. Grant such other writ or directions or orders, as this Hon'ble Court deems fit to grant in the
facts and circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice and equity.
3. The short grievance of the petitioner is that the representations submitted by the petitioner on 22.11.2024, 04.02.2025, 10.10.2025, 04.11.2025 and 11.12.2025 at Annexures-H, J, L, M and N, respectively, have not been considered by respondent No.1 and necessary orders passed thereon.
4. Whenever any representation is submitted by a citizen or a company, it is required for the said authority to consider the same and pass necessary orders within a reasonable period of time either by accepting or rejecting the request made via the representation.

5. Needless to say, if a rejection is made, such an order would have to be accompanied by reasons. In the present matter, the first of the representations having been made in the year 2024, till date no
order has been passed which cannot be said to be reasonable. As such, this Court passes the following:
ORDER i) Writ petition is allowed. ii) A mandamus is issued directing respondent No.1 to consider the representations dated 22.11.2024, 04.02.2025, 10.10.2025, 04.11.2025 and 11.12.2025 at Annexures-H, J, L, M and N, respectively, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this
order. iii) It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the entitlement of the petitioner and the same would have to be ascertained as per the applicable law.
