In view of his such submission, Vakalatnama on behalf of the informant is taken on record. 3. Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, learned counsel appearing for the State and learned counsel appearing for the informant. 4. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Dhanwar P.S. Case No.133 of 2026, registered for the offence under Sections 191(2), 191(3), 190, 126(2), 115(2), 117(2), 118(1), 109, 303(2), 351(2), 352 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, pending in the Court of the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Giridih. 5. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the altercation took place due to land dispute and there are case and counter case between the parties. On these grounds, he submits that anticipatory bail may kindly be granted to the petitioner. ( 2026:JHHC:26467 ) -2- A.B.A. No. 4976 of 2026 6. Learned counsel appearing for the State and informant jointly opposed the prayer and submit that there is direct allegation against the petitioner of assault by way of butt of axe. On these grounds, they submit that the prayer for anticipatory bail may kindly be rejected. 7. On perusal of the FIR, it transpires that there is direct allegation against the petitioner of assault by way of butt of axe upon Sonu Singh on his head and pursuant to that, grievous injury has been received by Sonu Singh. In the attending facts and circumstances of the case, I am not inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner and, as such, his prayer for anticipatory bail is, hereby, rejected. 8.
