At the very outset, learned counsel appearing for respondent No.1 would submit that since the order of appointment in favour of respondent No. 5 was issued by the President/Chairman of the Primary Forest Produce Cooperative Society, Kumarta, District Raigarh, the present writ petition is not maintainable, as no writ Digitally signed by NADIM MOHLE 2 ordinarily lies against a cooperative society. She would further submit that the petitioner has an efficacious alternative remedy to approach the competent authority under Section 55(2) of the Chhattisgarh Cooperative Societies Act, 1960. 2. At this stage, Mr. Yadav, learned counsel for the petitioner would seek permission of this Court to withdraw the present writ petition with liberty to avail the alternative remedy available under law. 3.
