CMP No. 11990/2026 The present application under Sections 152 & 153 of the Civil Procedure Code has been filed by the applicant/appellant for correction of judgment dated 13.11.2025. As per the applicant, in the judgment income of the deceased was taken at Rs. 75,000/-, however, while adding 25% towards future prospects, the same was erroneously calculated. The addition of 25% of the income ought to have been Rs. 18,750/-, thereby making the total monthly income at Rs. 93,750/- and not Rs. 1,00,000/-, as computed in the judgment. However, due to aforesaid arithmetical error, the entire computation of compensation stood inflated. The application is duly supported by an affidavit of Incharge, TP Hub of the Insurance Company. No reply to the application has been filed and learned counsel for the non-applicants/respondents have no objection in case prayer made in the application is allowed. Heard. Having regard to the averments made in the application, the same is allowed, judgment dated 13.11.2025 is modified and the claimants are held entitled for the compensation as under:- Heads Corrected calculations Salary Rs. 75,000/- Addition @ 25% Rs. 18,750/- Monthly income after addition Rs. 93,750/- 1/4th deduction on account of personal expenses Rs. 70,312/- Annul income Rs. 8,43,744/- Multiplier 14 Loss of depedency Rs. 1,09,68,672/- Loss of consortium Rs. 1,60,000/- Loss of estate Rs. 15,000/- Funeral expenses Rs. 15,000/- Total Rs. 1,11,58,672/- Rest of the terms of the judgment shall remain the same. Registry is directed to make necessary correction in the aforesaid judgment as per this order. The application stands disposed of.
