Petitioner by way of this Writ Petition are seeking direction to Respondent No.2 to decide the pending Revenue Case No.B/121/202601020500067 in AVINASH SHARMA Digitally signed by AVINASH SHARMA Date: 2026.07.07 18:36:02 +0530 2 an expeditious manner as the same is pending since 21.08.2025. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner had filed an application way back on 21.08.2025 before Respondent No.2 seeking action against private respondents as they have sold the land bearing Khasra No.964/3, area 0.393 hectare situated at village Katinda, Tahsil Lakhanpur, District Surguja CG, without obtaining permission from their Department and from Collector concerned. 3. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that since then, several proceedings took place viz the Collector sent the matter to SDO (Revenue) Udaypur for report, who in turn, sent the matter to Tehsildar for report. However, fact remains that the matter is not yet finally decided by the Collector, as such, some directed may be issued so that the pending case may be concluded expeditiously. 4. Learned State counsel submits that he has no objection to the aforesaid prayer. 5. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the material available with the petition, it appears that the petitioner has filed the application on 21.08.2025, though it is clear that the Collector has taken proper cognizance of the matter by seeking reports from subordinate authorities, however, still the matter is pending, therefore, this Court deems it appropriate to direct Collector, Ambikapur District Surguja to proceed in the matter bearing Revenue Case No.B/121/202601020500067 in an expeditious manner and conclude the same within a period of 45 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order, after giving due opportunity of hearing to the parties.
