Also heard Mr. M.P. Goswami, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor for the State respondent. 2. This interlocutory application has been filed praying for extension of time Page No.# 2/3 to appear before the Investigating Officer in terms of the order dated 13.02.2026 in AB No. 313/2026. 3. This Court vide order dated 13.02.2026 in AB No. 313/2026, has granted anticipatory bail to the applicant with the following conditions: “7. Accordingly, it is directed that the accused applicant, named above, shall be released on pre-arrest bail, in connection with the above noted case on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 30,000/- (Rupees Thirty Thousand) with one surety of like nature in the event of his arrest by the arresting authority, subject to the following conditions:- (1) That the accused applicant shall appear before the Investigating Authority within a period of 10(ten) days. (2) That the accused applicant shall present himself as and when called for by the Investigating Authority and fully cooperate with the investigation. (3) That the accused applicant shall not hamper or tamper with the investigation in any manner.” 4. Mr. Talukdar, learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant could not appear before the Investigating Officer within 10 days due to certain illness. He submits that the applicant had suffered from severe diarrhea during that period and therefore, was unable to appear before the Investigating Officer in terms of the order dated 13.02.2026. In view of the aforesaid, he submits that some time may be allowed to the applicant so that he can appear before the Investigating Officer. 5. Taking into account the medical documents that have been submitted before this Court, this Court allows another 7 days time from today i.e. 16.03.2026 for appearance of the applicant before the Investigating Officer and do the needful in terms of the order dated 13.02.2026. 6. This order will merge with the aforesaid order dated 13.02.2026. Page No.# 3/3 7. In terms of above, this I.A. stands disposed of. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
