THIS PETITION, COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING IN 'B' GROUP, THIS DAY, ORDER WAS MADE THEREIN AS UNDER:
CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE SURAJ GOVINDARAJ

1. The petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: a. d. Grant such other relief/s as this Hon'ble Court deems fit, in the interest of justice and equity.
2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the legal notice issued by the petitioner on 07.02.2025 at Annexure-L has not been replied to or acted upon by the respondent.
3. His further contention is that the respondents have not complied with the orders passed in WP No.27/2018 by this Court at Annexure-M.
4. Apart therefrom, a relief has been sought for issuing a mandamus directing the respondents to implead themselves as defendants in a pending suit in OS No.670/2023.
5. Insofar as his last prayer is concerned, no such mandamus could be issued to the respondent in terms of a particular matter which is pending.
6. As regards the representation which has been submitted, whenever any representation is submitted, it would be required for the concerned governmental Authority or statutory authority to consider the same and pass necessary orders either accepting or rejecting the representation within a reasonable period of time, either accepting or rejecting the Representation submitted, in accordance with law.

7. Needless to say, if an order of rejection is passed, the same would have to be accompanied by reasons. Neither having been done, I pass the following;
ORDER i. The writ petition is allowed. ii. The reliefs sought for are moulded. iii. A mandamus is issued, directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 07.02.2025 at Annexure-L and pass necessary orders within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of copy of this
order. iv. This Court has not expressed any opinion on the entitlement of the petitioner.
