The memo reads as under: "The petitioner submits that the matter had been settled between parties, before the mediation center on 28.01.2020, {vide Annexure-D} for a sum of Rs.8,75,000/- and the petitioner has paid entire amount as per mediation report and - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:32122 WP No. 7239 of 2022 now the parties settled the matter, amicably, the petitioner has paid further amount of Rs.4,00,000/- {Rupees Four Lakhs Only} by way of demand draft bearing No.156162, dated 23.06.2026, drawn on Union Bank of India, Kithaganur Branch, Bangalore, in favour of respondent and the respondent has agreed to withdraw the suit in OS.No.1159/2019, on the file of city civil Judge at Bangalore, by accepting the mediation report dated 28.01.2020. Inview of withdrawing the suit before the trial court by respondent, the petitioner has withdrawn the above petition as dismissed as not pressed, in the above case, in the interest or justice." 3.
