By way of this petition, the petitioner seeks the following reliefs : 10.1 That, the Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to call the entire records relating to the case of the Petitioners. 10.2 That, the Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondents to pay the compensation amount of Rs.5,32,946/- alongwith 12% interest per annum awarded to the petitioner as per awarded dated 22.04.2020 passed by respondent no.1, within a period of one month. 10.3 Any other relief which Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case and cost of the petition. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner may avail the alternative efficacious remedy available to him. He submits that respondent No.2/NHAI has already initiated arbitration proceedings under Section 3G(5) of the National Highways Act. 4. In view of above, as the alternative remedy is already underway, no fruitful purpose would be served by keeping this petition pending. 5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to appear before the Arbitrator appointed under 3G(5) of the said Act.
