Sangita, learned counsel for the petitioner; Mr. Th. Sukumar, learned GA for the State respondent nos. 1 & 2 and Mr. W. Darakishwor, learned Sr. PCCG for the respondent nos. 3 & 4. [2] By the present petition, the petitioner challenges the order dated 25.01.2026 issued by Deputy Secretary (Health & FW), Govt. of Manipur for transfer and posting of different officers of Manipur Health Service (MHS). The petitioner is aggrieved by posting of respondent no. 5 as Medical Officer, PHC, Phayeng and in addition as OSD State Drug Controller, DHS. The petitioner prays for setting aside the posting of respondent no. 5 and also for disposal of the representation dated 02.02.2026 submitted by him to the Director of Health Services, Manipur. [3] When the matter was taken up on 15.04.2026, the learned sr. counsel for the petitioner restricted his prayer only to the disposal of the representation dated 02.02.2026 submitted by him to the Director of Health Services, Manipur and submitted that the matter may be disposed of by directing the Director of Health Services, Manipur to consider and pass a speaking order to the representation submitted by the petitioner. When the matter is taken up today, Mr. Th. Sukumar, learned GA submits that he may be given some more time for taking instructions and filing a detailed affidavit. [4] Mr. W. Darakishwor, learned Sr. PCCG for the Central Govt. submits that Central Govt. has no role in this present case and it is between the petitioner and State respondents. [5] This Court has perused the materials on record and limited prayer of the learned sr. counsel for the petitioner for disposal of the pending representation dated 02.02.2026 submitted by him. [6] In the circumstances, this Court is of the view that the writ petition may be disposed of by directing the respondent no. 2 (Director of Health Services, Manipur) to consider the representation dated 02.02.2026 submitted by the petitioner and pass a reason order as per rule, within a period of 2(two) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Before passing any order, the official respondent shall give an opportunity of being heard to respondent no. 5, as the present petition is disposed of without issuing any notice to him. [7] It is made clear that this Court does not express any opinion on the merit of the case. [8] In the circumstances, the present WP(C) No. 266 of 2026 is disposed of.
