Also heard Mr. Ninnong Ratan, learned Additional Advocate General, Arunachal Pradesh, appearing on behalf of the State Respondents No. 1 to 5. 2. By way of filing this writ petition under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner while challenging the procedure adopted by the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Siang District, Boleng, for not paying the compensation to the petitioner in terms of the land compensation assessment finalized by the Board even after settlement of the land dispute in his favour with regard to Chainage No. 46.965 to 47.265(Sl. No. 52 of the list) of Kuo area of Bille-Migging Frontier Highway; the petitioner prays for a direction to the respondent authorities, to consider and dispose of the various representations submitted by him, for release of the pending land compensation amount. 3. It is submitted that as the respondent authorities were not releasing the compensation amount entitled to the petitioner, he had submitted representations Page No.# 3/4 on dated 16.10.2025 and 29.01.2026 and on dated 17.03.2026, before the Deputy Commissioner, Siang District, Boleng. However, the said representations are still lying pending without disposal despite repeated reminders. 4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that although he has made other prayers also in this writ petition, seeking relief thereof; however, at this stage, the petitioner has a limited prayer confined to the Prayer No. 1 i.e. to direct the respondent authorities, more particularly, the respondent No. 3 i.e. Deputy Commissioner, Siang District, Boleng, to consider and dispose of the above-noted representations submitted by him. 5. Mr. Ratan, learned Additional Advocate General, Arunachal Pradesh, representing the State Respondents No. 1 to 5, fairly submits that if the prayer of the petitioner is confined to the extent of a direction to the Deputy Commissioner, Siang District, Boleng for disposal of the above-referred representations submitted by the petitioner; he has no objection, however, he submits that a sufficient time period may be afforded to the Deputy Commissioner, Siang District, Boleng, for such disposal of the aforesaid representations. 6. In view of the above and taking into account the submissions of the learned counsels for the parties, however, without going into the merit of the case; this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent No. 3 i.e. the Deputy Commissioner, Siang District, Boleng, to consider and dispose of the representations dated 16.10.2025, 29.01.2026 and 17.03.2026, submitted by the writ petitioner for release of the pending land compensation amount to him, by passing a reasoned and speaking order in accordance with law after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and the respondent No. 6, namely, Shri Tanyong Taket, F/o Tamin Taket, village Gasheng, PO Payum, PS Kaying, Siang District, Arunachal Pradesh. Such exercise for disposal of the aforesaid representations shall be completed by the Deputy Commissioner, Siang District, Boleng, within a period of 30(thirty) days from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. 8. However, it is made clear that pending disposal of the representations submitted by the petitioner, in the manner as indicated above, the respondent authority shall not release the land compensation amount, either, to the petitioner, or, to the respondent No. 6, if not yet been released. 9. With the above observations and directions; the writ petition stands disposed of at the motion stage itself. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
