A.B.A. No.4945 of 2026
5. From perusal of the records, it appears that the petitioner is the husband of the deceased and the in-laws have been granted anticipatory bail as the allegation is not against them and further the charge-sheet was submitted under Sections 108 read with Section 3(5) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and under Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. The petitioner has solemnized the second marriage; prima facie it appears due to that the first wife of the petitioner had committed suicide while the allegation is there of killing her by strangulation. So far as the petitioner is concerned, the investigation is still going on.
6. In view of above facts, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the present anticipatory bail application stands rejected.
