JUSTICE E.S.INDIRESH ORAL ORDER The grievance of the petitioner in this petition is that, though the petitioner has filed representation dated 19th February, 2025 (Annexure-B) to change the Khata of the subject land in favour him based on the registered Sale Deed dated 25th November, 2024 (Annexure-A), the respondent No.2-Tahsildar has not considered the same. 2. Heard Sri. H.R. Vishwanath, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Smt. B.P. Radha, learned Additional Government Advocate appearing for respondents. 3. Having heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties and on perusal of the averments made in the writ petition, it is forthcoming that the petitioner is seeking change - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:30038 WP NO.12785 OF 2025 of Khata in respect of the subject land in his favour based on the registered Sale Deed dated 25th November, 2024 (Annexure-A). In that view of the matter, I am of the considered opinion that, it is the duty of the respondent No.2 to consider the representation of the petitioner in terms of Section 128 of the Karnataka Land Revenue Act to enter the name of the petitioner in the revenue records in respect of the subject land as per the registered Sale Deed dated 25th November, 2024 (Annexure-A). Therefore, the respondent No.2-Tahsildar is directed to consider the representation dated 19th February, 2025 (Annexure-B) in accordance with law, within an outer limit of two months from the date of receipt of this order.
