Versus State of H.P. & Anr.2, sought to be enforced by the petitioners, is based on the decision rendered in Yashwant Kumar Vs. State of H.P. & Ors.3. That operation of the decision rendered in Yashwant Kumar3 has been stayed vide order dated 17.08.2026 passed in LPA No.205 of 2025 1 Whether reporters of print and electronic media may be allowed to see the order? Yes 2 CWP No.844/2026, decided on 09.01.2026 3 CWP No.8148 of 2022, decided alongwith connected matters on 21.03.2024 2 (State of Himachal Pradesh and Ors. Vs. Chunni Lal) and connected matters. In view of above, the present contempt proceedings are closed. Liberty is, however, reserved to the petitioners to seek appropriate remedy in accordance with law for the redressal of their surviving grievances, if any, at an appropriate stage, in case need so arises in future.
