This petition has been preferred by petitioners under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking following reliefs:- “10.1 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue an appropriate writ, order, or direction to the respondent authority to decide the petitioner’s representations, i.e., letter dated 04.09.2021 (Annexure-P/2), letter dated 11.11.2024 (Annexure-P/3) and letter dated 06.10.2025 (Annexure-P/9) in a stipulated time frame fixed by this Hon’ble Court in the facts and circumstances of the DEEPTI JHA Digitally signed by DEEPTI JHA 2 case and in the interest of justice. 10.2 That this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to grant any other relief/reliefs in favour of the petitioners, which the Hon’ble Court deems fit and just in the facts and circumstances of the case, including awarding of the costs to the petitioner.” 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that while calculating the compensation, wrong calculation has been made and the same has been awarded to the petitioner. Upon knowing this fact, petitioner has filed an application before the concerned District Registrar, upon which the concerned District Registrar Jangir-Champa (C.G.) issued a letter to the Sub Divisional Officer (R)-cum-Land Acquisition Officer, Dabhara, wherein it has been categorically stated that petitioner is entitled for compensation of Rs.2,38,832/-, whereas Rs.1,67,182/- has been awarded to the petitioner, therefore, a direction may be issued to take necessary action in this regard. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that in pursuance of the aforesaid letter issued by the District Registrar, it would be appropriate to direct concerned Sub Divisional Officer (R)-cum-Land Acquisition Officer to pass an appropriate order of compensation amount to be passed in favour of the petitioner and disburse the same in accordance with law. 4. Learned State counsel does not raised any objection with regard to the submission made by the counsel for the petitioner. From the letter dated 03.07.2025, it appears that the amount which is to be given to the petitioner as well as the amount which has been given to the petitioner has already been mentioned by the District Registrar Janjgir-Champa (C.G.) and the same has been communicated to the Sub Divisional Officer (R)-cum-Land Acquisition Officer, Dabhara. If the petitioner would be directed to approach before the concerned Land Acquisition Officer, he is not having any objection. 5. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, petitioner is directed to approach before the concerned Land Acquisition Officer. At this 3 stage, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has filed the applications way back on 04.09.2021, 11.11.2024 and the latest one is of 06.10.2025. 6. Considering the aforesaid aspect of the matter, the concerned Sub Divisional Officer (R)-cum-Land Acquisition Officer is directed to consider the applications of the petitioner in light of the memo dated 03.07.2025 and pass an appropriate order in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a period of 45 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 7. With the aforesaid observation and direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. 8. Interlocutory application(s), pending if any, also stands disposed of.
