Call for records in CC.No.605/2013 pending in the file of the Court of Learned III Additional Civil Judge and JMFC, Kanakapura; b. Quash the entire proceedings against the Petitioner (Accused No.8) in CC.No.605/2013, arising out of Crime No.203/2011, pending before the Learned IIIrd Additional Civil Judge and JMFC, Kanakapura, on the file of Respodnent no.1 Sathnaur Police, for the offence punishable under Section 143, 147, 148, 448, 504, 354, 323, 324, 427, 506 r/w 149 of Indian Penal Code, 1860 ('the IPC' for short); and c. and grant such other and further relief in the interest of justice and equity." 2. Heard Sri. Basawa Prasad Kunale, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Smt. Waheeda M.M., learned High Court Government Pleader appearing for respondent No.1. 3. The contention of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner is that the counter case on a complaint registered by the petitioner against the complainant has ended in acquittal and the petitioner's case is being tried. While that would not be the reason to quash the proceedings at this juncture, more so - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:31529 CRL.P No. 8329 of 2026 in the light of the fact that the trial in C.C.No.605/2013 is at its fag end. Therefore, I deem it appropriate to direct the concerned Court to conclude the trial within an outer limit of three months from the date of receipt of the copy of the order.
