Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case. The marriage between the couple took place in 2021. In March, 2025, the petitioner filed a suit for divorce. As a counter-blast, the present FIR was lodged on 09/5/2026. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the State relies on the case diary and opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. She refers to the FIR and the statements of witnesses and the medical report. As per the statement of the victim, the petitioner used to often assault her. On a particular day, he assaulted her with fists and blows breaking three teeth. She had to be treated in a hospital. The medical paper at page 3 of the case diary shows dental fracture. 2 4. Considering the above and the other incriminating materials available in the case diary, I do not consider this to be a fit case to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 5. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is rejected. 6. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance with requisite formalities.
