Mr. Harendra Belwal, learned counsel for the petitioner. 2. Mr. Subhang Dobhal, learned counsel for the respondent-University. 3. Petitioner’s claim for regularisation was rejected vide order dated 27.06.2017 by holding that his case is not covered by Regularisation Rules of 2013. Petitioner contends that the Regularisation Rules of 2013 have now been amended in December 2025, therefore, petitioner’s claim deserves to be reconsidered. 4. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the Competent Authority to re-examine petitioner’s claim, as per Regularisation Rules of 2013, as amended from time to time. 5. Learned counsel for the University submits that decision in the matter shall be taken by the Competent Authority, within four months from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order. 6. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of by taking the statement of learned counsel for the University on record.
