The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India with following reliefs:- “(i) That this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue an appropriate writ thereby setting aside the Notice Inviting Tender bearing No.RO CG- 25011/61/2026-Contract-RO CG (NIT No. 2026/14) dated 04.06.2026, insofar as it relates to RH-H&T work at SWC Urga (Korba) to RH Saragbundiya (Annexure P/4). (ii) That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to declare that the contract awarded to the petitioner vide appointment letter dated 12.03.2025 pursuant to NIT No. 2025/01 dated 28.01.2025 (Annexure P/1) shall remain valid, subsisting and operative till 14.06.2027, subject to the terms and conditions of the contract. (iii) That this Hon'ble Court may also kindly be pleased to grant any other relief deemed fit in the facts and circumstances of the case to the petitioner including cost of the petition.” 3. The petitioner has already participated in the tender process in respect of the work covering 1.3 km, pursuant to the tender floated by the respondents. Further, the petitioner is presently executing the work awarded to him under an earlier contract for a period of two years, i.e., from 15.06.2025 to 14.06.2027, covering a stretch of 10.6 km. 4. Learned counsel appearing for the respondents submits that since the petitioner has participated in the tender process for the 3 remaining work, his bid shall be considered and decided by the respondents strictly in accordance with law. 5. In view of the above submissions made by learned counsel for the respondents, the present writ petition stands disposed of. No cost(s).
