JUSTICE D K SINGH) These two appeals under Section 47(a) of Guardians and Wards Act, 1890 have been filed by both the parents challenging the order dated 05.03.2025 passed by the First Additional Principal Judge, Family Court at Tumkuru in G & WC No.14/2029. 2. The void marriage came to be solemnized between the parties/parents on 21.11.2018. Chi. Poorvik @ Rahul R.M. was born out of wedlock on 26.10.2019. Soon after the birth of the said child, the parties have - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:31077-DB MFA No. 2794 of 2025 C/W MFA No. 3545 of 2025 been in a sore relationship and have been fighting in the Court. MFA No.3509/2025 c/w MFA No.3565/2025 have been disposed of today, i.e., on 22.06.2026 and we have declared the marriage solemnized between the parties/parents of the child as null and void under Section 11 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955. At present, the minor son, Poorvik, @ Rahul R.M. is in the custody of the mother. However, the Family Court has granted visitation rights to the father. We do not find any error in the impugned order passed by the Family Court. 3. We therefore, affirm the order passed by the Family Court, however, with modification that the respondent-father shall provide Rs.20,000/- p.m. (Rupees Twenty Thousand only) for expenses of the child, Chi. Poorvik @ Rahul M.R. 4. The respondent - father may admit the child in a better school. However, he has to bear all the admission and education expenses of the son besides giving monthly - 5 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:31077-DB MFA No. 2794 of 2025 C/W MFA No. 3545 of 2025 maintenance of Rs.20,000/- per month for expenses of the child. With the above said modification, we dispose of both the appeals. 5. Any deviation or non-compliance of this order by either of the parties shall have the serious consequences and in such an eventuality, the other party can approach this Court by moving an appropriate application.
