Romesh Verma, Judge (oral): After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioners seeks liberty to withdraw the instant petition. 2. Accordingly, the petition is dismissed as withdrawn, along with pending miscellaneous application, if any. CMP No. 24748 of 2026 3. The instant application has been filed by the respondents- landlords for the release of the amount of use and occupation charges, which stands deposited in the Registry of this Court. 4. Since the tenants/petitioners have withdrawn the instant petition, there is no impediment in allowing the present application. Whether reporters of Local Papers may be allowed to see the judgment? -2- 5. Accordingly, the entire amount of rent/use and occupation charges lying deposited in the Registry of this Court, along with up-to- date interest, is ordered to be released by remitting the same in favour of the applicants/respondents into their savings bank account numbers, the details of which have been given in paragraph 4 of the application, as per the shares mentioned in paragraph 5 of the application. 6.
