Learned counsel appearing for respondent No.1 would submit that challenge in this writ petition is to the order passed respondent No.4/Sub Divisional Officer (R), whereby election petition filed by the petitioner under Section 122 of the Chhattisgarh Panchayat Raj Adhiniyam, 1993 challenging election of respondent No.1 on the post of Sarpanch has been dismissed. He submits that by efflux of time, writ petition has rendered infructuous as the term of Sarpanch has already over. 2. As there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner, this Court is left with no other option but to dismiss the writ petition for want of prosecution. 3.
