Mr. Ajay Veer Pundir, learned counsel for the respondents. JUDGMENT: (per Manoj Kumar Gupta, C.J.) 1. The petitioner had appeared in selection for the post of Associate Professor (Chemistry) in the respondent-University in pursuance of an advertisement issued in the Year 2021. The interview was held on 20.06.2022. Since final result has not been declared so far, therefore, the present writ petition has been filed praying for the following relief: “(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents to immediately declare the result of interview conducted on 20.06.2022 for the post of Associate Professor (Chemistry).” 1 2026:UHC:2034-DB 2. Learned counsel for the respondent-University, on instructions received from Deputy Registrar of the University, who is present in the Court, states that the result could not be declared as the matter was under litigation. He submits that, the said impediment does not exist now and the result, which is lying in sealed cover, would be opened before the Board of Management in the meeting scheduled tomorrow. He states that thereafter the final result would be duly notified. 3. In view of the statement made by the learned counsel for the respondent-University, no further direction is required to be issued. 4. The University shall abide by the statement made by its counsel before this Court. 5. The Petition stands disposed of. 6. Pending application, if any, also stands disposed of.
