1. Mr. Tajhar Qayyum, learned counsel for the petitioner.

3. The instant writ petition has been preferred by the petitioner seeking the following reliefs:- (i) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the impugned FIR dated 08.03.2026 registered as case crime/FIR no. 49 of 2026 under Section 3 Section 5 read with Section 11 of Uttarakhand Protection of Cow Progeny Act, 2007, PS Kaliyar Sharif District Haridwar. (ii) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.2 to not to arrest the petitioner in pursuance of the FIR dated 08.03.2026 registered as case crime/FIR no. 49 of 2026 under Section 3 Section 5 read with Section 11 of Uttarakhand Protection of Cow Progeny Act, 2007, PS Kaliyar Sharif District Haridwar.
4. After arguing at length, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is ready to surrender before the court concerned.
5. The State counsel has no objection.
6. In such view of the matter, instant writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioner to surrender before the court concerned on or before
20.04.2026. Till then, the petitioner shall not be arrested provided he cooperates with the investigation.
