1. The petitioner, through the medium of the present petition, seeks a direction to the learned Principal District Judge (Family Court), Jammu for effectively complying with its own order dated 18.02.2026 whereby in an application filed under Section 488 of the old J&K Code of Criminal Procedure (Cr.P.C) of 1898 which corresponds to Section 125 of the Central Cr.P.C, the petitioner was granted monthly maintenance of Rs. 15,000/- per month. It is alleged that the respondent has not paid a single penny out of Rs. 12,00,000/- which has been calculated as arrears.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would feel satisfied, if the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the learned trial Supp. Cause List-1 Serial No. 98

court to expedite the enforcement of the order in its execution petition filed by the petitioner.
3. The relief sought by the petitioner is innocuous in nature and essentially seeks enforcement of the order already passed by the learned trial court, regarding which execution petition is stated to be pending before the court below.

Viewed thus, the present petition is disposed of at this motion stage, with a direction to the learned court below to expedite the enforcement of the order in the execution petition filed by the petitioner for enforcement of the order regarding payment/recovery of maintenance, of course, in accordance with law.

Disposed of, accordingly, alongwith connected application(s).
