That in the instant writ application, the Petitioner prays for issuance of appropriate writ(s) / order(s)/direction(s) or a writ in the nature of Mandamus commanding upon the respondents to pay the petitioner deducted amount of GPF & GIC from his salary amounting to Rs. 6,00,000/-with interest, which was not deposited online by the Municipal Commissioner, Adityapur in treasury in spite of deduction made from the salary of petitioner. And/Or Pass such other order/orders as your Lordships may deem fit in the fact of circumstances of the case.” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondents authorities after deducting amount of Rs. 6,00,000/- from 2026:JHHC:25261 2 the salary of the petitioner in the name of depositing the same in GPF and GIC account, the said amount has not been paid to the petitioner even after his superannuation. 3. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that since no counter affidavit has been filed, as such the petitioner may be directed to approach the concerned respondent for redressal of his grievances. 4. Having regard to the aforesaid, the instant writ application is hereby disposed of by directing the petitioner to approach the 4th Respondent by filing a detailed representation along with all relevant documents as early as possible. The moment 4th Respondent receives such representation, he shall take a decision in the matter in accordance with law and applicable Rules and Regulations within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of such representation. 5. It goes without saying that if the claim of the petitioner is found to be genuine, necessary consequential order be issued within a further period of 4 weeks. 6.
