12/ 31.08.2026: This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for direction upon the respondents to hand over the possession of plot no. M-376 situated at Adityapur, P.O. and P.S. Adityapur, Jamshedpur.

On repeated calls nobody appeared on behalf of the petitioner.
Learned counsel for the respondents-Jharkhand State Housing Board is present through Video Conferencing.

It appears from the averments made in the writ petition that the said plot was allotted and for that certain amount has been deposited by the petitioner and inspite of that such prayer made in the writ petition nobody appeared on behalf of the petitioner. Time was taken by the learned counsel for the petitioner on 24.07.2025 and 15.01.2026.

Mr. Sachin Kumar, learned counsel for the Housing Board appearing through Video Conferencing submits that the petitioner may file fresh

representation before the competent authority who will take a decision.

In view of above and considering the prayer made in the writ petition, this writ petition is disposed of with direction to the petitioner to file fresh representation before the respondent no.2 within three weeks and if such representation is filed by the petitioner, the respondent no.2 will take a decision and will pass reasoned order within four weeks further thereafter.

With the above observation and direction, this writ petition is
disposed of. Pending I.A, if any, stands disposed of.
