The petitioner’s prayer seeking higher scale of pay on enhancement of his educational qualification is pending consideration at the end of the District Inspector of Schools, North 24 Parganas. 2. Without entering into the merits of the claim of the petitioner, the instant writ petition stands disposed of directing the DI of Schools, North 24 Parnagas to consider the petitioner’s prayer for higher scale of pay strictly in accordance with the prevailing rules at the earliest, but positively within a period of twelve weeks from the date of communication of this order. 3. An opportunity of hearing shall be granted to the petitioner, the school and other necessary parties, for ascertaining the claim of the petitioner. 4. A reasoned order shall be passed and communicated to the petitioner. 5. If the claim of the petitioner is allowed, then necessary consequential steps shall be taken by the aforesaid respondent without any further delay. 2 6. Learned counsel for the petitioner shall forward a copy of the subject representation along with all supporting documents to the said respondent at the time of communicating this order. 7. The writ petition is disposed of. 8. All parties are to act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. 9.
