JUSTICE E.S.INDIRESH ORAL ORDER In this petition, petitioner has sought for a direction to respondent No.3 to rectify the measurement of land bearing Sy. No.13 of C Kodigehalli, C.S.Pura Hobli, Gubbi Taluk, Tumakuru District, as per grant order at Annexure-A in favour of the husband of the petitioner. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that in the Official Memorandum dated 22.10.1977 - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:31801 WP No. 35017 of 2024 (Annexure-A), it has been stated that 03.38 acres of land is granted in favour of one Seenaiah S/o Sannamma, husband of the petitioner. However, in the Saguavali Chit issued at Annexure-B, it is stated as only 38 guntas of land stands in the name of one Seenaiah, late husband of the petitioner. 3. In this regard, learned AGA submits that the petitioner is in possession of the land only to an extent of 38 guntas and also submitted to consider the inordinate delay in approaching this Court and sought for the petition be dismissed. 4. In the light of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the parties, as per the Official Memorandum dated 22.10.1977, the petitioner has sought for the rectification of the entry after 45 years and the same cannot be accepted at this stage. It is also to be noted from Annexure-B that the grant made in favour of the husband of the petitioner is only to an extent of 38 guntas and therefore, I am of the view that, the writ of - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:31801 WP No. 35017 of 2024 mandamus cannot be issued.
