Mohinder Singh Vs. Raj Kumar Cr. R No. 252 of 2023 25.09.2026 Present: Mr. Pawan Gautam, Advocate, for the petitioner. M/s. Ajay Kumar Dhiman & Sakshi, Advocates, for the respondent. Cr. MP No. 4123 of 2026 The present application for early hearing has been preferred by the respondent/complainant. However, during the course of proceedings, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he is willing to settle the matter by paying the cheque amount, for which he would require some time. He, however, has no objection if 50% of the cheque amount, which stands deposited before the learned Trial Court, is ordered to be released in favour of the respondent/complainant and some time is afforded to the petitioner/accused to arrange the balance amount. In view of the aforesaid circumstances emerging on record and keeping in view the fact that the brother of the respondent/complainant is suffering from kidney failure and has recently undergone a kidney transplant, for which he is stated to be in dire need of money, as averred in the application for early hearing, it is ordered that the learned Trial Court shall release 50% of the cheque amount lying deposited before it in favour of
the respondent/complainant. The petitioner shall take steps to pay the balance amount within a period of eight weeks. The application for early hearing has been rendered infructuous and is accordingly dismissed. Cr. Revision No. 252 of 2023 As prayed, list on 13.12.2026. (Chirag Bhanu Singh) Judge 25th September, 2026 (Shamsh Tabrez)
