This revisional application seeks expeditious disposal of O.S No. 17 of 2020 pending before the learned Additional District Judge, 8th Court, Alipore, South 24 Parganas. 2. Learned advocate appearing for petitioner invites the attention of this court the order dated March 11, 2024 passed in CO 243 of 2024 whereby a Co- ordinate Bench of this Court had directed the suit to be disposed of within one year from the date of disposal of the pending application in the suit. 3. It is submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner that although the pending applications were disposed of on May 22, 2024, the suit is still pending. In the meantime, another application has been filed seeking recall of the order whereby the earlier application (disposal whereof had been directed by the order dated March 11, 2024) was disposed of. 4. In view of the nature of the order proposed to be passed, prior service of notice of the revisional application along with a notice is not being directed, 2 however, the petitioners shall remain obliged to serve a copy of the revisional application along with a copy of this order upon the opposite parties within a week from date. 5. Having heard the learned advocate appearing for the petitioners and having perused the material on record, this revisional application is disposed of by requesting the learned Additional District Judge, 8th Court, Alipore, South 24 Parganas to dispose of, as expeditiously as possible and preferably so as to ensure that the petitioner is not required to travel to this court once again seeking expeditious disposal of the same suit. 6. CO 818 of 2026 stands disposed of with the above observations. No Costs. 7. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities. (Om Narayan Rai, J.)
