(Oral) 1. The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking setting aside of Look Out Circular (‘LOC’) dated 05.12.2025 issued against him. 2. The petitioner was named in FIR No. 26 dated 18.03.2025 under Sections 84, 316(2), 351(2), 115(2) and 3(5) of BNS registered at Woman Police Station NIT, Faridabad which was lodged by his wife. He claims that afore-stated FIR is purely out of matrimonial dispute between them. All the differences have been settled by way of memorandum of understanding dated 07.02.2026. They have filed a joint petition under section 13B of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 which is pending adjudication before learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Faridabad. CWP-10122-2026 -2- compromise has filed CRM-M-11785-2026 for quashing of aforesaid FIR which is pending adjudication before this Court. LOC was issued during the investigation of aforesaid FIR. He is currently residing in United Kingdom and has executed a GPA in favour of his parents. He claims that afore-stated LOC is creating an embargo on his right of free movement. 3. Status report by way of affidavit dated 18.04.2026 of Mr. Vinod Kumar, H.P.S. Assistant Commissioner of Police, Badkhal, Faridabad is taken on record. Registry is directed to tag the same at an appropriate place. 4. Learned State counsel submits that considering directions of this Court contained in order dated 06.04.2026, an application for cancellation of Look Out Circular has been moved by Investigating Officer which is under process. 5. Faced with this, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he, at this stage, does not press the petition, however, may be granted liberty to move an appropriate application if needful is not done qua impugned LOC. 6. In the wake of statement of both sides, the petition stands disposed of with aforesaid liberty.
