Ranjan Sharma, Judge Petitioner has filed CWP No. 7550 of 2013 which was converted as CWPOA No. 1751 of 2019, seeking the following relief(s): (a) That this writ petition may kindly be allowed and writ in the nature of certiorari may be issued and the impugned order dated 20.07.2013 may be quashed and set-aside. (b) That the respondent state may kindly be directed to initiate departmental 1 Whether reporters of Local Papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 action against the official who were in- strumental in issuing the certificate without due verification. (c) That in the alternative the respondent Board may kindly be directed to in- itiate the inquiry afresh and proceed in accordance with law and complete the same in a time bound manner.” 2. Upon issuance of notice by this Court on 18.09.2013, parties inter-se have exchanged the pleadings in instant case. 3. Upon listing of the matter for hearing today; Mr. K.B. Khajuria, on Instructions, submits that due to subsequent events, the petitioner does not intend to pursue the petition. [Statement taken on record]. 4. Prayer, being innocuous, is not opposed by Learned State Counsel also. 5. Considering the statement made by the Learned Counsel for petitioner, the instant petition is closed. 6.
