JUSTICE S VISHWAJITH SHETTY ORAL ORDER Accused No.7 in Crime No.127 of 2026 registered by Bharamasagara Police Station, Chitradurga for offences punishable under Sections 312 and 324(4) of BNS, 2023 is before this Court in this petition filed under Section 482 of BNSS 2023 seeking anticipatory bail. 2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties. 3. FIR in Crime No.127 of 2026 was registered by Bharamasagara Police Station, Chitradurga for the aforesaid offences against one Mr.Odivelu and others, based on the first information dated 21.03.2026, received from one Mr.Papanna. Apprehending arrest in the said case, petitioner had filed Crl.Misc.No.437 of 2026 before - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:31750 CRL.P No. 7068 of 2026 the Court of Jurisdictional Sessions Court, which was rejected on 02.05.2026. Therefore, he is before this Court. 4. It is brought to the notice of this Court that petitioner's name is not found in the FIR. Accused No.6 who is similarly placed has been granted anticipatory bail by this Court in Criminal Petition No.6017 of 2026. Undisputedly, petitioner has no other criminal antecedents and he has undertaken to co-operate with the police for the purpose of investigation. Accordingly, I pass the following: ORDER The petition is allowed. The Respondent - Police or any other police in the State of Karnataka are directed to release the petitioner, in the event of his arrest, in Crime No.0127 of 2026 registered by Bharamasagara Police Station, Chitradurga for offences punishable under Sections 312 and 324(4) of BNS, 2023, subject to the following conditions: - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:31750 CRL.P No. 7068 of 2026 1. The Petitioner shall appear before the Investigating Officer within Fifteen days from the date of receipt of the copy of this order and shall execute a personal bond for a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh only) with two sureties for the like-sum to the satisfaction of the investigating officer. 2. Petitioner shall regularly appear before the Trial Court, without fail, unless exempted by the Trial Court for valid reasons. 3. Petitioner shall not tamper with the prosecution witness and he shall co-operate with the police for investigation and appear before them, whenever called upon. 4.
