GP FOR SERVICES II The Court made the following: 3 VS, J W.P.No.7049 of 2026 ORDER: The present Writ Petition came to be filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:- “…to issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction directing the Respondents to consider the Petitioner’s representation dated 01.12.2025 and disburse the pending Pooja material reimbursements of Rs.4,48,232/- (Rupees Four Lakhs Forty Eight Thousand Two Hundred Thirty Two only) to the Petitioner forth with and to pass such other order or orders ….” 2. The case of the petitioner is that he was initially appointed as a Pujari at Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple, Adoni, Kurnool District, vide proceedings in R.C.No.B2/1243/2016, dated 15.09.2016. He rendered his services from the date of his appointment, by performing daily poojas with utmost sincerity. Further, the case of the petitioner is that he has incurred certain expenses for purchasing pooja material and though he has submitted the bills, the respondent authorities have failed to make the payments. In view of the same, he approached this Court by filing writ petition No.6576 of 2025. In the said writ petition, the learned Standing Counsel for the 4th respondent therein, on written instructions, submitted that none of the representations were made to the respondents and the representations, which are filed along with the writ petition, do not contain endorsement of the respondents. In view of the same, this Court was pleased to dispose of the writ petition on 25.03.2025, by directing the petitioner to make a fresh representation and on making any 4 VS, J W.P.No.7049 of 2026 such representation, the respondents were directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law. 3. Now, the grievance of the petitioner is that in pursuance of the orders passed by this Court, in writ petition No.6576 of 2025, the petitioner has submitted a representation on 01.12.2025 to the 4th respondent herein, seeking disbursement of the pending amounts, relating to the purchase of pooja materials and arrears of salary, which was sent through registered post and the petitioner has also filed the postal receipts to prove that he has submitted a representation to the 4th respondent on 01.12.2025. But, as no orders have been passed by the respondents on the representation submitted by the petitioner, the petitioner filed the present writ petition. 4. Heard Smt. T.Jyothi, learned counsel representing Sri M.D.Saleem, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Services-II and Sri T.Venu Gopal, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents. 5. Since the relief sought by the petitioner in the present writ petition is only to the extent of directing the 4th respondent to consider the representation dated 01.12.2025, made by the petitioner, instead of going into the merits of the case, this Court feels it appropriate to dispose of this Writ Petition, directing the 4th respondent to pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, in accordance with law. 5 VS, J W.P.No.7049 of 2026 6. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
