By way of this petition, the petitioner seeks the following reliefs : 1) To issue appropriate writ, order, direction to the respondent No. 2 to allocate funds of total Rs.1,65,84,192/- & Rs.79,29,600/- to the Gram Panchayat and thereafter directing the respondents to pay total Rs 1,65,84,192/- & Rs. 79,29,600/- the petitioner in the interest of justice. 2) To call for the entire original records from the office of the Respondents for kind perusal of the Hon'ble Court. To issue any other writ, 5 order or direction which the Hon'ble Court deems fit in the interest of justice. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner-Firm installed solar lights in each of the different Gram Panchayats, however, the requisite amount has not yet been disbursed. He submits that this delay is on the ground that funds have not been allocated to the concerned Gram Panchayat by Respondent No.2- Director, Panchayat Directorate, Atal Nagar, Raipur. He further submits that the petitioner has already filed a representation dated 11.5.2026 in this regard before Respondent No.2, which is still pending consideration. 3. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner makes a limited prayer to dispose of this petition with a direction to the concerned authority – Respondent No.2 to decide the said representation expeditiously. 4. The aforesaid prayer is not opposed by the other side. 5. Heard learned counsel for the parties and also perused the documents annexed with the petition carefully. 6. Considering the aforesaid aspects of the case, without entering into the merits of the case, and further considering the limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner, this Petition is disposed with a direction to the concerned authority – Respondent No.2 to decide the aforesaid representation filed by the petitioner expeditiously. 7. However, it is made clear that if any complaint is received against 6 the petitioner alleging that the claimed number of solar lights has not been installed, the concerned authority shall be at liberty to take appropriate action against the petitioner in accordance with law. 8.
